Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximilian Bonaparte (ranked 4846 p4p, 5537 weight class) and Shawn Durango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaparte works over Durango's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Shawn Durango has been cut.
Durango tries for a takedown but Bonaparte sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bonaparte circles away from the clinch attempt.
Durango tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bonaparte defends well and Durango ends up having to push Bonaparte into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bonaparte was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
