Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Jabbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jabbar comes into the arena with 54-56 what`s my number blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harper looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jabbar! Jabbar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harper on the ground. Harper swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jabbar is now in Harper's guard. A big mistake from Harper there, giving up the dominant position! Jabbar pushing down on Harper's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. That has opened up John Harper's cut even more. Jabbar breaks from the clinch.
Harper closes the distance and clinches up with Jabbar, looking for a takedown. Harper pushes Jabbar against the cage but Jabbar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kareem Jabbar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Harper. Jabbar avoids the body shot from Harper.

Jabbar tries to score with a low kick but Harper moves his leg out of the way. Harper swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Left hook, right uppercut from Jabbar. Harper closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jabbar pushes Harper off looking to stand but Harper dives back in and keeps control.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Harper has eaten all the pies! Jabbar landing knees to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jabbar breaks from the clinch.
Harper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jabbar is fending him off so far but Harper persists. Nope, Jabbar circles away and we're back to standing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jabbar tries to clinch up. Harper misses with a body punch

Kareem Jabbar dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Harper's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Harper passes to full mount! It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Jabbar here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Jabbar is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Harper is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jabbar has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jabbar has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Jabbar trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Harper looking for the choke but no joy. This has been an exciting period of action! Harper is not going to allow Jabbar to sit and survive in this position.
