Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Richardson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Brezovsky!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brezovsky takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Richardson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Richardson scores with a shot to the body.
Richardson misses with a straight right.
Brezovsky with the counter takedown but Richardson avoids it easily.
Brezovsky walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Richardson scores with a nice right hand.
Richardson misses with a looping left.

Richardson instigates a clinch.
Brezovsky goes for a takedown in the clinch but Richardson prevents it.
Brezovsky misses with an elbow over the top.
Richardson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Richardson breaks from the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good exchange - Richardson coming out on top.
Brezovsky is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Brezovsky checks a leg kick.
Brezovsky shoots in for a takedown but Richardson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Richardson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Brezovsky moves away from the strike by Richardson.
Richardson scores with a jab to the body.
Richardson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brezovsky. Brezovsky circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Richardson connects with a nice looking jab.
Rick Richardson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brezovsky takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Richardson stuns Brezovsky with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Richardson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Richardson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
And Brezovsky tries to counter it with a takedown but Richardson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
The crowd cheers as Richardson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brezovsky doesn't seem phased though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Richardson throws a series of strikes that have Brezovsky backpedaling.

Brezovsky is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Richardson throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Brezovsky colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Richardson as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Brezovsky is left battered and dazed whilst Richardson and his camp cheer!
