The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie wants to clinch.
Gracie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fiachna!
Fiachna wants to control but Gracie postures up.
Fiachna is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fiachna has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Fiachna's legs - danger averted.

We've been hearing good reports from Fiachna's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Fiachna has Gracie pulled in close to control his posture.
Fiachna has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Darragh Fiachna decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
