Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yeves The Soul Rapist (ranked 4734 p4p, 4586 weight class) and Haole Boy (ranked 569 p4p, 561 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yeves The Soul Rapist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Soul Rapist throws a combination that misses
and Boy counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Boy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The Soul Rapist keeping full guard, as Boy tries to pass.
Boy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The Soul Rapist wants to stand but Boy is controlling the position.
The Soul Rapist will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yeves The Soul Rapist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The Soul Rapist has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Boy has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Boy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite The Soul Rapist's efforts to push away.

Boy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The Soul Rapist throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Boy.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The Soul Rapist tries to stand but Boy is controlling from the bottom.
Boy has his foot on The Soul Rapist's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Soul Rapist works his way back into a safe position though.
The Soul Rapist is looking to stand up but Boy won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and The Soul Rapist defends well.
The Soul Rapist has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Boy is proving hard to escape from.

The Soul Rapist on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if The Soul Rapist tries to get out of the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boy has hold of The Soul Rapist's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! The Soul Rapist tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Boy cranks the arm and The Soul Rapist screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from The Soul Rapist, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
