Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leon Smalls (ranked 6026 p4p, 5123 weight class) and Viserys Targaryen (ranked 264 p4p, 234 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Targaryen closes the distance and clinches.
Targaryen tries for a takedown but Smalls manages to get underhooks.

Smalls breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fighters circle momentarily. Smalls darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Targaryen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Smalls slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Targaryen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Smalls on his heels. He'll look to pass Smalls's guard now, I'm sure.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Targaryen shoots in for a takedown but Smalls shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Targaryen wants to take a breather but Smalls is having none of it.

Smalls lands with a hook. Targaryen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Smalls fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Targaryen square on the jaw! Damn, Targaryen is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
