Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Keane (ranked 4843 p4p, 5034 weight class) and Brazilian Powaaah (ranked 580 p4p, 590 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brazilian Powaaah!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keane on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Powaaah lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Keane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Powaaah swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Keane scores with a jab to the head.
Keane lands a really nice looking cross but Powaaah seems unphased.
Keane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Powaaah's head backwards.
Powaaah sizes up Keane with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Keane wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Powaaah throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Keane sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Keane slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Powaaah lands an overhand right.
Powaaah feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Keanes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Keane drops Powaaah with a straight right hand, right on the button! Keane follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Keane!
