Campbell throws a head kick that misses

and Freeman counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Freeman wants to free his trapped foot but Campbell is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Freeman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Campbell is just riding it out for now. Freeman eventually gives up the hold.
Freeman wants to pass to mount but Campbell is defending the position.

Freeman is trying to work for a kimura but Campbell is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Campbell is trying to maintain the position but Freeman is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Freeman works his foot free and advances to mount.
Campbell is looking to get to half guard.
Freeman has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Freeman is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Campbell with him. Campbell is trying to defend but Freeman has an arm under the chin now! Campbell grimaces and is forced to tap out!
