Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Freeman (ranked 3959 p4p, 3379 weight class) and Saul Bateman (ranked 508 p4p, 437 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman misses with a wild body shot.
Bateman tries to clinch there but Freeman circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bateman is defended easily by Freeman.
It looked like Freeman was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Freeman tries to close the distance and clinch but Bateman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Freeman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bateman defends it nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bateman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
As Bateman looks to move away, Freeman throws a big counter combo but Bateman just gets out of the way.

Freeman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bateman is just riding it out for now. Freeman eventually gives up the hold.

Freeman tries to break free but Bateman pushes him back against the cage.

Bateman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Freeman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bateman's guard.

Bateman wants to stand but Freeman is controlling the position.

Bateman cracks Freeman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Freeman throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bateman tries to pull guard but Freeman forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Freeman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bateman can do to turn this around?

Bateman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Freeman uses from the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Freeman thows a huge punch but Bateman dodges it nicely.
Bateman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freeman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Freeman decides to stand up.
Freeman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Freeman throws a good cross that connects.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bateman as he avoids it easily.
Bateman goes for a double leg but Freeman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Freeman continues to drive forward.
Freeman throws a right and a left that Bateman avoids nicely.

Freeman is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bateman throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Freeman's body to avoid the submission. Freeman has instead reached around Bateman's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Freeman arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
