Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cesare Tiramanti (ranked 748 p4p, 1816 weight class) and Ricardo Pfeifer (ranked 114 p4p, 248 weight class). Pfeifer has chosen Trooper by Iron Maiden as his entrance music. Cesare Tiramanti has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ricardo Pfeifer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pfeifer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pfeifer! But no joy.
We've been hearing reports that Tiramanti has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tiramanti avoids the head kick by Pfeifer.
Pfeifer tries to close the distance and clinch but Tiramanti swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tiramanti throws a right hand that Pfeifer ducks under and follows up with a left that Pfeifer also avoids with ease.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tiramanti is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Oh Tiramanti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tiramanti walks straight into a right hand from Pfeifer - that's dropped him! Pfeifer jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tiramanti from any more punishment! Tiramanti complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
