Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tali Ihantala (ranked 3806 p4p, 3779 weight class) and Blinky Billy (ranked 409 p4p, 136 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tali Ihantala has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tali Ihantala seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blinky Billy!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ihantala misses with a straight left.
Ihantala's jab looks to have found its range, popping Billy under the eye.
It looks like Blinky Billy has been cut.
Ihantala misses with a head kick.
Billy flicks out a counter leg kick but Ihantala steps away.
Billy slips under a jab.
Billy throws an overhand right that lands on Ihantala's shoulder, as Ihantala tries to avoid the shot.
Ihantala went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Ihantala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Good standup being displayed there by Ihantala as he connects with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ihantala throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Billy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ihantala misses with a body shot.
Ihantala scores with a decent looking hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ihantala lands with a right hand.
That has opened up Blinky Billy's cut even more.
Billy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ihantala throws a hook but Billy avoids it easily.
Ihantala lands the left hand.
Billy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The cut above Blinky Billy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ihantala throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ihantala sends Billy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ihantala is motioning to the referee to let Billy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Billy is rocked!
Ihantala is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ihantala lands a brutal uppercut that launches Billy off his feet! Billy tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tali Ihantala!
In his post fight interview, Tali Ihantala started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
