Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Obebobwe Osas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Patrick Watt!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Osas has Watt up against the cage in a clinch.
Watt's coach down at Island Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Watt's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Watt misses with a punch on the inside.
Osas just leaning against Watt, taking a breather.
Watt wants to break free but Osas has control.
A short body shot lands from Osas as the two fighters clinch.

Watt lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Osas takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Watt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Osas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Osas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Watt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Osas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Watt, pushing him back against the cage.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Osas trying to control the position but instead, Watt has worked for underhooks and has pushed Osas into the cage.

Watt manages to break the clinch.
Osas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Watt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Osas throws out the jab.
It seemed like Watt was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Watt misses the shot to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Patrick Watt dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Obebobwe Osas's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Watt lands a big uppercut and Osas crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Osas looks OK. Watt waves Osas back to his feet!

Osas is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Osas is looking to clinch but Watt is avoiding it.
Oh Osas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Obebobwe Osas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Watt moves forwards but Osas connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Watt drops Osas with a big left hand! Osas is injured, injured bad! Watt jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick Watt!
