Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kidney Stone (ranked 1546 p4p, 2052 weight class) and Leo Vuce (ranked 164 p4p, 213 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppord. Vuce has chosen MC Yankoo as his entrance music. Kidney Stone could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Leo Vuce's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kidney Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Vuce!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuce rushes Stone and presses him up against the cage.
Vuce jumps guard but Stone turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Stone lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Vuce pulls guard effortlessly.
Stone stays in close to Vuce's body and controls the position.
Stone forces his way into half guard.
Stone controlling the pace.
Stone throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Vuce to regain full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vuce can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stone controls the pace.
Stone passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.

Still in half guard, Stone seems content to control.
Vuce has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Stone is just content to waste time from the top position. Vuce takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Stone slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Vuce.

The fighters are battling for position here. Vuce manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Vuce is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stone definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kidney Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Vuce.
A left hand lands to the body for Stone.
Stone swings wildly with an uppercut but Vuce uses good head movement to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vuce has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stone uses from the top position.
Stone wants to stand and escape but instead Vuce has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Kidney Stone will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Vuce shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Vuce postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vuce, into his guard.

Stone is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Stone is pushing down on Vuce's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vuce is fighting to maintain full guard but Stone has managed to sneak the leg through.

Vuce throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Vuce throws a few strikes from the bottom but Stone takes advantage and mounts!
Stone goes for an armbar but Vuce turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Vuce.
Vuce throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stone works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Vuce postures up and lands a big shot to Stone's brow.

Nice takedown defense from Stone. No joy for Vuce on that attempt.
Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Vuce. Vuce gets slowly back to his feet.
Stone lands a leg kick that knocks Vuce off balance momentarily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vuce connects with a nice short shot to Stone's temple.
