Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between JJ Olatunji (ranked 4550 p4p, 4395 weight class) and Michal Urbanek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olatunji comes to the cage accompanied by KSI – Patience. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, JJ Olatunji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Urbanek! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Urbanek scores with a jab to the body. Urbanek swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Olatunji tries for a takedown but Urbanek sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Urbanek scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Olatunji doesn't succeed with the takedown and Urbanek counters with a one-two to the body. Olatunji tries to score a power double leg takedown but Urbanek sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Olatunji somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Olatunji. That's going to take a lot out of him. Olatunji misses with a takedown attempt - Urbanek sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Olatunji shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Urbanek counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Urbanek lands a head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Olatunji. Urbanek leaves Olatunji with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Olatunji closes this distance looking for a takedown but Urbanek circles away. Urbanek takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Urbanek lands with a good body shot. Michal Urbanek is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sloppy strikes from Urbanek. Those never looked like landing. Olatunji drops down looking for a counter takedown but Urbanek sprawls and moves away. Urbanek connects with a jab. Urbanek tries to bum rush Olatunji with a series of wild strikes but Olatunji uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Olatunji tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Urbanek defends well and Olatunji ends up having to push Urbanek into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Olatunji looking for a takedown. Olatunji is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Urbanek avoiding damage.
Urbanek's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Urbanek has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A shot to the liver by Urbanek. Beautiful body shot. Olatunji goes for a double leg but Urbanek avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Urbanek continues to drive forward. Urbanek manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Urbanek prevents the takedown attempt.
Olatunji tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Olatunji has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Urbanek is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Urbanek is pressed up against the cage. Olatunji has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Urbanek down to the mat. Urbanek avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Urbanek, as that shot connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Urbanek scores with a jab to the head.
Olatunji is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Urbanek moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michal Urbanek! Michal Urbanek gave a mention to PWNAGE in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
