Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ruffus Gurr (ranked 4654 p4p, 4613 weight class) and Jack Till (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Gurr misses.
Till is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Till closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gurr quickly recovers to half guard.
Till is nestled in close to Gurr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Gurr moves into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Till slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Gurr manages to work his way to half guard, despite Till's best efforts.

Till working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Till landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Till throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Gurr makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Till closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gurr to the mat! Gurr manages to get full guard.
Till postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Oh Gurr is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Till stands up over Gurr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Till with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Till gets to his feet and stands over Gurr, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Gurr felt that one! Till unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Gurr from any more punishment!
