Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Izaya Inazuma (ranked 4624 p4p, 4669 weight class) and Snake Ma (ranked 0 p4p, 481 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Izaya Inazuma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Snake Ma! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inazuma is looking to land body kicks. Ma closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Inazuma did well to prevent Ma getting side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ma seems to be looking for submissions.
Ma is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Inazuma sees it coming and defends easily. Ma seems to be working for a kimura but Inazuma defends the submission attempt. Ground and pound from Ma. Ma tries to pass the half guard into mount. Inazuma knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Inazuma trying to control here.
Ma throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ma has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ma uses his free foot to push down on Inazuma's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Inazuma. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ma lands a big elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ma looking to secure an arm triangle but Inazuma defends it well. Inazuma keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Inazuma is working hard here to advance position. Inazuma has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Inazuma defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ma gets his hands free as Inazuma looks to control. Inazuma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ma on the ground. I really don't envy Inazuma right now.
Ma lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Ma is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Inazuma has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Ma is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Inazuma is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Snake Ma!
