The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tierra takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tak Thinonopakar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tierra walks into a stiff left hand from Thinonopakar.
Thinonopakar throws a hook to the side of Tierra's head but Tierra sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tierra counters with a body kick.
Thinonopakar lands the left hand.

It looks like Lovely Tierra has been cut.
Thinonopakar cracks a nice hook into Tierra's ribs.
Tierra moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Thinonopakar scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tierra looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tierra tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thinonopakar swivels and escapes.

Thinonopakar seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Tierra darts in looking for a takedown but Thinonopakar gets double underhooks and turns Tierra into the cage.
Tak Thinonopakar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lovely Tierra.

Tierra seems to have recovered his senses.

Thinonopakar lands a left and a right that send Tierra crashing to the mat, dazed. Thinonopakar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tierra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thinonopakar's waist but Thinonopakar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tierra off to one side.
Thinonopakar's corner calls for a 1-2. Thinonopakar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That has opened up Lovely Tierra's cut even more.
