The crowd seem to be enjoying Penn's choice of entrance music: The End. Colin Penn is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes misses with a low kick as Penn jumps back.
Penn takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Penn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Penn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Penn. Barnes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Barnes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Penn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barnes's waist but Barnes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Penn off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
