Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaikura Camara (ranked 5386 p4p, 6105 weight class) and Stephen Steve (ranked 590 p4p, 632 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaikura Camara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Steve! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camara takes a swing at Steve's ribcage but misses. Steve is looking for the big counter here. Camara misses with a wild body shot. Steve has Camara up against the cage in a clinch.
Camara tries a body shot but Steve blocks it.
Steve blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Steve manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Camara's corner is telling him to maintain position. Steve is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Steve keeping moving, preventing Camara from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steve looking for subs off his back but Camara has passed one foot through into half guard.
Steve is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steve is holding on to half guard well. Steve trying to control here.
Camara with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Steve preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Steve looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Steve changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Camara tries to avoid it but Steve manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Camara to the ground. Camara escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Camara stuffs the takedown. Steve throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Camara's waist but Camara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steve off to one side. Kaikura Camara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Steve. Camara loads up on a big right hand but Steve slips the punch. Camara lands a jab to the head.
Camara thuds a left hand into Steve's body. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fight stays on the outside here - Camara looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Steve blocks a jab. Steve wants to counter the offense by Camara and move into the clinch position. Camara throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And Steve tries to counter it with a takedown but Camara pushes his down on his head and steps out. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kaikura Camara dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! A telegraphed right hand from Camara misses the target. Steve ducks under a wild hook from Camara. Steve tries for a takedown but Camara circles away easily and Camara counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Steve misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Camara tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Steve's elbow. Steve blocking some punches.
Camara gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Steve.

Camara is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Steve can do to turn this around? Steve's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Camara lands an uppercut. Steve tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kaikura Camara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Steve. Steve is trying to pull guard but Camara has him pressed against the cage. Camara tries to throw a body punch but Steve avoids it by throwing Camara back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Camara lands a left hand that snaps the head of Steve backwards. Steve blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Camara throws a head punch that misses. Camara pushes Steve back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Steve trying to control the position but instead, Camara has worked for underhooks and has pushed Steve into the cage. Steve breaks from the clinch.
Steve misses with a takedown attempt - Camara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Camara scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Camara darts in and clinches Steve up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Steve. Steve is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Camara gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Camara tries to throw a body punch but Steve avoids it by throwing Camara back against the cage. Steve tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Camara smiles and moves away.
A jab from Camara finds it's way through Steve's defenses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A slow jab from Camara misses its intended target. Steve slips under a jab. Camara tries to clinch but Steve moves out of range. Steve darts in looking for a takedown but Camara gets double underhooks and turns Steve into the cage. Camara scores with a jab to the jaw. Camara looks to land a left hand but Steve moved out of range nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kaikura Camara dominated that second round. That's time! Camara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Steve forces Camara back against the cage and clinches. Kaikura Camara is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Steve tries to pull guard but Camara forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Steve.
Steve tries to circle away but Camara has him pinned against the cage. Camara doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Steve tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Camara just stands there and leans against the cage. Steve is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Camara is defending well. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Camara is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Camara trying to control but Steve is working from the bottom. Steve trying to control the position here. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Steve has a takedown stuffed. Steve avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Camara displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Steve. Stephen Steve is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Steve looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Steve takes a shot right to the bread basket. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Camara displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Steve. Camara fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Steve looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
And that's the end of the fight! Kaikura Camara showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Camara, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
