The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mckendrick swivels and escapes.
Hunt keeps the fight on the outside.
Hunt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mckendrick tries to counter by closing the distance.
Hunt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Mckendrick dives in and scores a takedown into Hunt's guard.
Mckendrick is looking to stand up but Hunt won't let him.
Mckendrick wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving.

Hunt working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Mckendrick has passed into half guard!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mckendrick maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hunt could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mckendrick has cracked it and Hunt is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mckendrick !
