Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kali Turner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls misses the shot to the body.
Despite the aggression on Turner's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Turner misses with a double jab
and Smalls counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A low kick from Turner misses
and Smalls counters with a one-two to the body.
Turner takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Turner misses with a low kick.
Smalls lands with a nice combination. Turner backs away looking to recover.
Turner shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smalls eats them both and turns towards Turner to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Turner has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Turner blocks a low kick nicely.
Turner unleashes a big counter combination but Smalls bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Turner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smalls doesn't seem bothered though.

Turner gets tackled into the cage by Smalls. Smalls maintains the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Smalls.

Smalls pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Turner fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Smalls is out of range.
It looked like Smalls was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Turner.

Smalls seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
We've been told by Smalls's head coaches at whitey's gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Smalls cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Turner throws a nice looking combination but Smalls bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Turner misses with a leg kick
and Smalls counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kali Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smalls lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Turner falls backwards - clearly groggy! Smalls dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jupiter Smalls!
After the big win, Jupiter Smalls made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors MKFC and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
In defeat, Kali Turner stepped up to the mic, saying 'fuck that nigga'.
