The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kray sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Volkov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Sergei Volkov has been cut.
Sergei Volkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Volkov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Volkov lands in his opponent's guard.
Volkov lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Volkov working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kray's head.
Volkov cracks Kray with a solid left hand.
Kray wants to stand up but Volkov is controlling him.
Volkov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Volkov is working Kray over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Kray is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Volkov is pushing down on Kray's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kray is fighting to maintain full guard but Volkov has managed to sneak the leg through.
Volkov is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Kray is hurt! He's hurt bad - Volkov fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Kray from any more punishment! Congratulations to Volkov! Great finish!
