The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sogrin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silva momentarily.
Sogrin misses with a straight left.
Good shot there by Sogrin.
Silva moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Silva has his takedown stuffed
and Sogrin counters with a one-two to the body.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sogrin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Sogrin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Silva is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
BOOM! Sogrin lands a beautiful left hook that drops Silva. Silva tries to recover but Sogrin is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Silva lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
