Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Hradek (ranked 2983 p4p, 3485 weight class) and Rand Madness (ranked 342 p4p, 398 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Hradek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rand Madness! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Madness - just one landing. Madness lands a right hook to the body.
Madness throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hradek. Nice cross by Madness. Madness stuffs the takedown. Madness throws a nice looking combination but Hradek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Madness dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Madness throws a series of punches but Hradek avoids them all with ease. Rand Madness seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Madness scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Madness throws a right and a left that Hradek avoids nicely. Hradek tries to counter by clinching up but Madness breaks away and moves out of range. Hradek fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Madness sprawls well initially but Hradek persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Madness is staying active underneath Hradek, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hradek throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hradek looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hradek is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Madness defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hradek stops Madness from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Madness is looking to get back to is feet but Hradek passes into side control.
Madness felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Hradek trying to control the action but Madness is working from the bottom. Hradek is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Madness is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hradek working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Madness is trying to get back to his feet. Hradek misses with the ground and pound. Hradek is working to tighten his grip on Madness's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Madness has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hradek is really squeezing tight and eventually Madness passes out! Hradek breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
