Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rammsie Hartmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeffery Berwick!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartmann shoots for a double leg takedown but Berwick sprawls well. He's pushed Hartmann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Berwick gets underhooks to prevent Hartmann's takedown attempt.
Berwick is trying to drag Hartmann to the mat but Hartmann just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Berwick has clasped his hands together around Hartmann's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hartmann is trying to buck Berwick off.
Hartmann really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hartmann is trying to improve his position.
Sloppy strikes there by Berwick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Berwick working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Berwick misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Berwick creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Hartmann on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hartmann tries to get out of the position.

Hartmann is rocked!
Berwick scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hartmann is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Berwick can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
