Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wang Wei (ranked 3089 p4p, 3052 weight class) and Hamzat Hoogo (ranked 294 p4p, 0 weight class). Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hamzat Hoogo!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wei misses with an uppercut
and Hoogo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hoogo.
Wei is trying to break the clinch but Hoogo has him pressed against the cage.
Hoogo decides to pull guard.
Wei got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hoogo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wei has managed to get both his arms back between Hoogo's legs - danger averted.
Wei wants to get up but he can't break Hoogo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Wei wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Hoogo's closed guard. He's half up but Hoogo has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Hoogo pivots and extends the arm, Wei falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hoogo! Well done that man!
