The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes lands a slapping body shot.
Chloride shoots for a double leg takedown but Holmes sprawls well. He's pushed Chloride's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Holmes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Acme Island Savages in the buildup to the fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Chloride closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Holmes quickly recovers to half guard.
Holmes is looking to escape.
Chloride thows a huge punch but Holmes dodges it nicely.
Chloride lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Chloride is looking for a kimura but Holmes is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chloride to get the leverage.
Holmes looks like he's trying to stand up.
Chloride is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Chloride maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Holmes could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Chloride has cracked it and Holmes is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Chloride!
