The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters staying out of range there.
Winters wants to clinch.
Winters takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Winters is defended easily by Maitonaama.
Winters tries to clinch up.
Maitonaama throws a body shot but no joy.
Winters seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Maitonaama tries to bum rush Winters with a series of wild strikes but Winters uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Maitonaama lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Winters at a distance.
Maitonaama misses with a hook. Winters ducked under it nicely.
Dick Winters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maitonaama misses with a looping right.
Winters looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Maitonaama is fending him off so far but Winters persists. Nope, Maitonaama circles away and we're back to standing.
Maitonaama looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Winters tries for a takedown but Maitonaama sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Maitonaama stuffs the takedown attempt from Winters. Winters gets slowly back to his feet.
Maitonaama throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Maitonaama is looking to improve his position but Winters isn't that keen on the idea.
Winters tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Winters definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Winters working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Maitonaama is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Winters has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Maitonaama taps out!
