Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marko Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, North Shore!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Shore tenderised Kerr's leg. Kerr is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Kerr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kerr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kerr wants to control from the top but Shore keeps moving.
Kerr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shore swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shore wants to stand up but Kerr is controlling him.
Kerr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shore works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kerr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kerr lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

It looks like North Shore has been cut.
Shore on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Shore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Shore pushes Kerr off looking to stand but Kerr dives back in and keeps control.

Shore seems to have recovered his senses.
Kerr lands a big elbow - Shore is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Kerr!
