Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karekin Ghasabyan (ranked 4737 p4p, 5450 weight class) and Knuckles Mckill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Karekin Ghasabyan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Knuckles Mckill! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mckill swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mckill misses with a wild combination.
Ghasabyan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Ghasabyan misses with a few strikes there.
Ghasabyan has closed the distance and engaged Mckill in a clinch.
Mckill tries to break the clinch but Ghasabyan is controlling the position. Ghasabyan pushes off an throws an elbow but Mckill leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Mckill should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Ghasabyan trying to land knees to the body.
Ghasabyan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Mckill keeping full guard, as Ghasabyan tries to pass. Mckill looking for a sweep. Not yet Mckill, not yet. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mckill has eaten all the pies! Mckill is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ghasabyan dives into side control.
Mckill tries to escape but Ghasabyan is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckill tries to bench press Ghasabyan off him but Ghasabyan keeps the position. Ghasabyan stands up and beckons Mckill to his feet. Ghasabyan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ghasabyan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ghasabyan prevents Mckill from improving his position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ghasabyan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. This is a sustained period of stalling by Ghasabyan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mckill is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ghasabyan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ghasabyan's back! Ghasabyan has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Mckill. Mckill not allowing Ghasabyan to control his hands. Mckill thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Mckill throwing wild punches that miss their target. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ghasabyan breaks Mckill's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mckill is looking to stand up but Ghasabyan isn't so interested in that idea. Ghasabyan preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mckill is trying to keep Ghasabyan in close.
Ghasabyan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mckill's guard. Ghasabyan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Mckill is looking to improve his position.
Ghasabyan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ghasabyan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ghasabyan decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Ghasabyan gets a takedown into half guard. Mckill kicks off Ghasabyan and gets to his feet. Mckill throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ghasabyan. Mckill throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ghasabyan counters with a body kick. Mckill looks winded! Mckill lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ghasabyan circles away quickly and effectively. Ghasabyan moves into range and clinches up with Mckill. Ghasabyan breaks the clinch.
Ghasabyan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mckill scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Ghasabyan manages to mount him!
Ghasabyan looking to control and managing it successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Karekin Ghasabyan dominated that round. That's time! Ghasabyan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ghasabyan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mckill. Ghasabyan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mckill drops Ghasabyan with a nice combination! Mckill dives into Ghasabyan's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Karekin Ghasabyan has been cut. Ghasabyan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mckill trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ghasabyan's guard. Ghasabyan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Ghasabyan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ghasabyan has a closed guard, preventing Mckill from standing up. Mckill must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ghasabyan is adopting a defensive guard. Ghasabyan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ghasabyan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mckill's guard.
Mckill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ghasabyan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckill looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ghasabyan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Ghasabyan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ghasabyan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Ghasabyan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Ghasabyan controlling from the full mount. Ghasabyan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Ghasabyan controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mckill regains half guard. Mckill taking some punishment here, with Ghasabyan in his half guard. Ghasabyan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ghasabyan decides to stand and escape the position. Knuckles Mckill seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mckill throws a series of punches but Ghasabyan moves out of range. Mckill scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ghasabyan scores with a decent looking hook. Ghasabyan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ghasabyan lands in his opponent's guard. Mckill is breathing heavily. Ghasabyan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mckill can't keep his opponent in guard - Ghasabyan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Ghasabyan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Mckill tries to kick Ghasabyan off but Ghasabyan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ghasabyan decides to stand and escape the position. A punch combination from Mckill misses. Ghasabyan clinches up with Mckill and pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mckill can't break the clinch.
Mckill jumps guard but Ghasabyan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Mckill wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ghasabyan has him pressed against the cage. Ghasabyan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mckill instigates a clinch. Ghasabyan decides to pull guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mckill trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ghasabyan's guard. Ghasabyan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mckill's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mckill working a defensive guard here.
Ghasabyan scoring with some ground and pound. Mckill is looking to stand back up but Ghasabyan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mckill. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Karekin Ghasabyan dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Karekin Ghasabyan's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Ghasabyan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mckill is looking to clinch but Ghasabyan is avoiding it.

Mckill throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ghasabyan. Mckill gets tackled into the cage by Ghasabyan. Ghasabyan maintains the clinch. Ghasabyan keeps control of Mckill as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ghasabyan lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Mckill tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Ghasabyan manages to move to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mckill is trying to reverse the position but instead Ghasabyan has taken his back - oops! Mckill takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mckill is covering up but some of the strikes from Ghasabyan are getting through and doing damage.
Ghasabyan is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ghasabyan has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mckill has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Ghasabyan lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Mckill.
Ghasabyan has managed to slip his arm under Mckill's chin. This could be all over... yep, Mckill is tapping out! Submission win for Ghasabyan.
