Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ndamukong Song (ranked 3185 p4p, 2155 weight class) and Pizza Rat (ranked 457 p4p, 312 weight class). Song's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Icon - Jaden. Rat is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by New york city rat taking pizza home. Pizza Rat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rat takes one to the chin there.
Rat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A quick step to the side and Song tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rat shoots in but Song avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Song gets caught flat footed, as Rat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rat trying to control the position from guard on top but Song is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Song pulls Rat in close to his closed guard and prevents Rat from doing any damage or advancing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rat wants to control from the top but Song keeps moving.

Rat sitting in guard, not really doing much.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Song holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Rat wants to clinch up but Song keeps it at a distance.
Song was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Rat ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rat has his takedown stuffed
and Song counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Ndamukong Song has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pizza Rat.
Song cracks Rat with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rat looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Song finish him?
Rat is rocked!
Rat closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rat is still on wobbly legs! Can Song finish him?
Song misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rat seems to have recovered his senses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rat.
Stalling in the clinch from Rat.
Rat swings wildly with an uppercut but Song uses good head movement to avoid it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
A body shot lands from Song.
Song pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Song's waist but Song gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rat off to one side.
Song throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Song throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Song changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rat fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rat closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rat lands with a short shot to the head.
Song breaks from the clinch.
Pizza Rat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rat doesn't manage to clinch there - Song circles away.
A left lands for Song.
Rat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Song's waist but Song gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rat off to one side.
Rat shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Song as he jumps to the side.
A quick step to the side and Song tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rat looks winded!

and Song counters with a nice right hand that sends Rat toppling to the canvas! Rat scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Song finish him?!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Song throws a series of punches but Rat moves out of range.
Song stuffs the takedown.
Rat shoots for a takedown but Song saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Song fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Song connects with a body shot that sends Rat's belly button to the back.
Song lands a jab to Rat's midsection.
A punch combination from Song misses.
Rat misses with a takedown
and Song counters with a right hand to the body.
Song fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Rat out cold! Brutal finish!
