PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ace Dudley (ranked 4630 p4p, 4874 weight class) and Snake Eyepoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eyepoke closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dudley to the mat! Dudley manages to get full guard.

Dudley wants to get back to his feet but Eyepoke is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dudley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Eyepoke wants to pass the guard but Dudley is keeping the position.

Eyepoke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dudley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dudley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Eyepoke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dudley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Eyepoke is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Eyepoke has eaten all the pies!
Let's hope that Eyepoke has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
