Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jose Luciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Ferris!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferris throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A slow jab from Ferris misses its intended target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ferris. Luciano does a little dance to reset his feet.
Luciano dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ferris throws a hook but Luciano blocks it.
Ferris throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Luciano throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ferris feints the counter takedown.
Ferris scores with a hook.
Ferris misses with a straight left.
Luciano swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
The fighters circle momentarily. Luciano darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ferris moves out of range of the leg kick from Luciano.
Luciano moves into the clinch.
Luciano lands a body punch in the clinch.
Ferris misses with a punch on the inside.
Luciano makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Luciano jumps guard and drags Ferris to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Luciano seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Luciano working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ferris doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Luciano is tightening it up a little... Ferris has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ferris reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ferris taps out! Nice BJJ there by Luciano!
