Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Kropotkin (ranked 6878 p4p, 5848 weight class) and Scooter Steve (ranked 290 p4p, 266 weight class). Scooter Steve is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Kropotkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scooter Steve! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steve tries for a takedown but Kropotkin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Steve tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kropotkin defends well and Steve ends up having to push Kropotkin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kropotkin throws a right hand that misses
and Steve counters with a nice body shot. Kropotkin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Steve counters with a left and a right that stings Kropotkin. Steve avoids a punch combination nicely.
Steve wants to counter with a clinch but Kropotkin pushes him away. A big left from Kropotkin misses. Steve drops his hands momentarily and Kropotkin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Steve looks for a takedown but Kropotkin sprawls well. Peter Kropotkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scooter Steve. Kropotkin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kropotkin misses with a double jab
and Steve counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This has been an exciting period of action! Steve ducks under a wild hook from Kropotkin. Kropotkin is looking to slow Steve down with leg kicks. Steve fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kropotkin avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steve scores with a takedown into Kropotkin's guard. Kropotkin manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Steve.
Kropotkin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Steve tries to pull guard but Kropotkin won't allow it.
Steve tries to pull guard but Kropotkin forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Kropotkin pulls guard effortlessly. Kropotkin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kropotkin is trying to keep Steve in close.
Steve stays in close to Kropotkin's body and controls the position. Steve wants to stand and escape but instead Kropotkin has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Kropotkin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kropotkin trying to control the position from guard on top but Steve is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kropotkin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Steve really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kropotkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kropotkin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Kropotkin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Kropotkin throws a jab but it's blocked by Steve. Steve throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kropotkin's waist but Kropotkin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steve off to one side. Kropotkin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Steve tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kropotkin swivels and escapes. Steve uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kropotkin. Steve misses with a wild combination.
Steve steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kropotkin. Steve moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steve prevents Kropotkin from breaking the clinch. Steve is trying to pull guard but Kropotkin has him pressed against the cage. Peter Kropotkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scooter Steve. A short right from Steve. Kropotkin fails to pull guard.
Kropotkin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steve is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kropotkin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Steve looking for a takedown. Steve has Kropotkin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kropotkin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Steve escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kropotkin thows a left - swing and a miss! Steve uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kropotkin.
And Steve responds with a good body kick, but Kropotkin manages to step out the way in time. A slow jab from Kropotkin misses its intended target. Steve gets a clinch. Kropotkin manages to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kropotkin being controlled here, momentarily. Steve drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kropotkin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kropotkin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kropotkin!
Peter Kropotkin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The ground and pound from Kropotkin seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Steve wants to control but Kropotkin postures up. Steve defending against the ground and pound. Steve wants to control but Kropotkin postures up. Kropotkin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Steve can do to turn this around? And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Kropotkin dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kropotkin gets tackled into the cage by Steve. Steve maintains the clinch. Kropotkin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Steve just stands there and leans against the cage. Steve is working Kropotkin over against the cage. Kropotkin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Steve smiles and moves away.
Scooter Steve is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kropotkin stalks Steve and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Steve's face. Steve staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Scooter Steve has been cut. Steve tries to clinch there but Kropotkin circles away.
Kropotkin just misses with a punch to the body.
Kropotkin swings for the body but Steve moves out of range.

No luck for Steve with that takedown attempt. Steve instigates a clinch. Kropotkin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kropotkin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steve circles away quickly and effectively. Kropotkin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kropotkin is pressed up against the cage. Steve has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kropotkin down to the mat. Kropotkin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kropotkin misses with a low kick. Steve throws a head kick but Kropotkin moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steve rushes Kropotkin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Steve manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Steve. Steve effectively controlling the action here. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Scooter Steve. I think Kropotkin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
