PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chad Strdoza (ranked 4231 p4p, 25143 weight class) and Lovely Tierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chad Strdoza has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chad Strdoza seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Tierra shoots for a double leg takedown but Strdoza sprawls well. He's pushed Tierra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Strdoza is looking for a counter combo.
Tierra closes the distance and clinches up with Strdoza, looking for a takedown. Tierra pushes Strdoza against the cage but Strdoza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Strdoza is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Tierra fails with a takedown attempt.
Strdoza seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Chad Strdoza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lovely Tierra.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tierra tries to score a power double leg takedown but Strdoza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tierra somewhat.
Strdoza seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Tierra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Strdoza's guard.

Tierra is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Strdoza has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tierra is looking to defend but Strdoza has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tierra! Strdoza pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tierra taps out and this one is all over!
