Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Sins!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavice uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sins.
Lavice attempts a counter takedown but Sins avoids it well and moves away.
Sins slips a straight right by Lavice.
Sins flicks out a counter leg kick but Lavice steps away.
A shot to the body from Lavice misses

and Sins counters by clinching up.
Lavice avoiding damage as Sins throws knees to the body.

Lavice tries to break the clinch but Sins is controlling the position.
We've been hearing reports that Lavice has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sins is struggling to control the position.

Sins is pushing Lavice up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sins is struggling to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Rene Lavice's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lavice cracks a nice hook into Sins's ribs.
Lavice is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sins.
Sins feints a counter leg kick.
Lavice buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

A jab-cross combination lands for Sins and sends Lavice crashing to the mat! Sins follows him down to the mat - Lavice regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Lavice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sins is working away from the top position though.
Sins is trying to control the action in half guard but Lavice is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Sins drops an elbow to the side of Lavice's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sins lands a nice short elbow.
Sins scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Sins trying to control the action but Lavice is working from the bottom.
Sins passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lavice!
Sins has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lavice's face.

Lavice tries to hold on but Sins postures up.
Sins cracks Lavice with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lavice is in a horrible position here. Sins smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Lavice is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sins wants to control the pace but Lavice is squirming around nicely.

Sins postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Lavice bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Sins and the fight is over!
