Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gul Dukat (ranked 2341 p4p, 3468 weight class) and Nelson Roumain (ranked 327 p4p, 457 weight class). Dukat's entrance music is Guillotine (Swordz) . A fine choice. Roumain has chosen Paper Trail$ - Joey Bada$$ as his entrance music. Nelson Roumain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roumain throws a lazy right hand but Dukat sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dukat moves out of range of the body kick from Roumain .

A nice leg kick from Roumain , right into the meat of the thigh.
Roumain fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dukat takes a swing at Roumain 's ribcage but misses.
Roumain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Dukat fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Roumain looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dukat is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Roumain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Gul Dukat will probably get the nod.

Dukat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A nice side step and Roumain releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
The crowd cheers as Roumain lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dukat doesn't seem phased though.

Roumain fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dukat has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Roumain parries the strikes from Dukat easily there. Dukat is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Roumain to escape.
Roumain is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dukat asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Dukat wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Roumain , who protects the arm well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dukat connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Roumain some visible discomfort.
Dukat misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Dukat shoots in looking for a takedown. Roumain tries to sprawl out of it but Dukat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roumain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dukat looks up at the clock and then as Roumain takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dukat smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gul Dukat.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dukat, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
