Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Reks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reks has chosen Mea Culpa as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Reynolds.
Reynolds tries for a takedown but Reks sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Reks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Reynolds counters with a three punch combo that has Reks backing up. Reks nods at Reynolds to acknowledge the strikes.
Reks throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Reks misses with a combination

and Reynolds counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Reks kicks Reynolds off and gets back to his feet.
Reynolds shoots in looking for a takedown. Reks tries to sprawl out of it but Reynolds keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Reynolds counters with a series of strikes. Reks will be more careful next time no doubt.

Reks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reynolds's waist but Reynolds gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reks off to one side.
Reks throws a right and a left that both miss.
Reks shoots for a takedown but Reynolds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
