Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jach Bresnar (ranked 3271 p4p, 6981 weight class) and Reza Chas (ranked 398 p4p, 600 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jach Bresnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Reza Chas! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bresnar keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Chas tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bresnar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bresnar wants to control from the top but Chas keeps moving. Chas looking for a guillotine here but Bresnar defends easily.
Bresnar trying to control but Chas is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bresnar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chas on the ground. Chas working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bresnar has passed into half guard!
Chas looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bresnar controlling the action here. Chas is trying to maintain the position but Bresnar is very close to passing his half guard. Bresnar thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bresnar trying to pass the guard but Chas defending well. Chas felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Chas is trying to control but can't.
Chas is refusing to be controlled, as Bresnar sits in half guard. Bresnar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bresnar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chas is trying to control but can't.
Chas is trying to get back to full guard. Bresnar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chas looking for submissions off his back. Chas gets back to full guard.
Chas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bresnar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bresnar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chas had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bresnar defends it easily. Bresnar engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bresnar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chas is keeping the position for now. Chas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bresnar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Chas is tightening it up a little... Bresnar has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bresnar reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bresnar taps out! Nice BJJ there by Chas!
