The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hershey.
Hershey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.
Jackson shoots in and gets a takedown into Hershey's guard.
Hershey pushes Jackson off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Hershey.
Hershey tries for a takedown but Jackson circles away easily
and Jackson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hershey is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hershey drives through with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hershey is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hershey throws an elbow that misses. Jackson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hershey's guard. Nice move by Jackson!
