Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keenwah Granes (ranked 2126 p4p, 4062 weight class) and Richmond Belvedere (ranked 264 p4p, 445 weight class). Granes comes to the cage accompanied by 敢不敢. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keenwah Granes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richmond Belvedere! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belvedere misses with a hook
and Granes counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Belvedere throws a hook but Granes blocks it. Belvedere throws a looping overhand right but Granes ducks down to avoid it. Belvedere connects with a crisp jab. Belvedere jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Belvedere connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Granes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches) in the buildup to the fight. Granes moves into the clinch. Belvedere keeps control of Granes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Belvedere lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Granes or not. Granes blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Belvedere lands a nice shot to the body. Granes tries to break the clinch but Belvedere is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belvedere tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Belvedere lands a left hand that snaps the head of Granes backwards. Granes's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Belvedere is leaning against Granes and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Belvedere working some nice short punches in the clinch. A short right from Belvedere. Granes tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Granes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Granes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Belvedere is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Granes is trying to break the clinch but Belvedere has him pressed against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Granes. Granes is trying to maintain a safe position but Belvedere gets an underhook and turns Granes into the cage. Belvedere tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Belvedere creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Granes stalling the fight.
Belvedere lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Belvedere lands with a light punch inside. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Granes misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Granes lands on the inside with an uppercut. Granes is pushing Belvedere up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Belvedere misses with a punch on the inside.

Granes tries to land knees in the clinch but Belvedere avoids the damage to the body. A short right hand to the side of the head by Belvedere. Belvedere lands a right hand that snaps the head of Granes backwards. Belvedere softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Granes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Granes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Belvedere tries to avoid it but Granes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Belvedere to the ground. Belvedere escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belvedere lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Granes goes down and covers up as Belvedere starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richmond Belvedere! In defeat, Keenwah Granes stepped up to the mic, saying 'No worries. Everyone here knows my opponent has a bad habit of testing positive for PEDs, so I'm sure this fight will soon be ruled a 'No Contest' by the Athletic Commission.'.
