The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feltz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gardet to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Gardet forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gardet passes the guard and advances to mount!
Gardet trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Gardet is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gardet extends the arm and Feltz is forced to tap!
