The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobby throws a combination. Smith tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Justyn Smith has been cut.
Bobby throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bobby off to one side.
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Bobby pushes him off.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bobby is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Bobby circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Smith fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bobby sprawls well initially but Smith persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Smith stands up and beckons Bobby to his feet.

and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bobby's guard.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Bobby is keeping the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bobby wants to get back to his feet but Smith passes into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bobby throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Bobby throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bobby as he avoids it easily.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Bobby stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.
Bobby throws a leg kick but Smith moved away.
Bobby lands a glancing blow to the side of Smith's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bobby darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

That has opened up Justyn Smith's cut even more.

and Smith holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bobby wants to get back to his feet.
Smith wants to control but Bobby is keeping him busy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bobby has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Smith looks to land a combination. Bobby sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Bobby tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bobby pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Smith feints and as Bobby raises his hands in defense, Smith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Smith stands up from Bobby's guard - Smith perhaps looking for a knockout.

Justyn Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bobby throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.

Smith has closed the distance and engaged Bobby in a clinch.

Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bobby.
Bobby throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Smith unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bobby lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Smith successfully pulls guard.
Bobby tries to free his leg and advance position but Smith is retaining full guard.

Smith had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bobby is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Smith Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bobby's back instead.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bobby just trying to survive but Smith is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Bobby is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Smith patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Bobby has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bobby trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
What can Bobby do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

I really don't envy Bobby right now.
Smith has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bobby's body.
