Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sabotage Rex!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rex on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Murphy tests Rex's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Rex listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Rex moves out of range as Murphy strikes.
Rex works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rex chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Murphy can pounce on him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rex fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Murphy on the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rex. Murphy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Murphy throws a series of punches but Rex moves out of range.

Rex tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Murphy was well out of range. Poor timing from Rex.

Murphy tries to land a front kick but Rex steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Murphy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rex.

Rex takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Murphy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Rex walks into a straight right hand from Murphy.

Murphy moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Murphy blocks a head kick by Rex.
Rex throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Murphy with a nice calf kick.
Murphy moves out of range of the body kick.
Murphy half committed to a counter leg kick.
Rex keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Murphy looks for the body kick but Rex saw that one coming.
Murphy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rex has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Rex lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Murphy goes down and covers up as Rex starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
