The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoyle takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hoyle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Miller being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoyle passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hoyle advances nicely into full mount.

Miller is desperately trying to improve his position but Hoyle has a good base and remains in mount.
Hoyle tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hoyle is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Miller is surviving well by controlling Hoyle's body position as best he can.
Miller has given up his back. Will we see Hoyle going for some submissions?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
What can Miller do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
