Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ace Dudley (ranked 6015 p4p, 5169 weight class) and John Christ (ranked 573 p4p, 519 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ moves into range and connects with a jab.
Christ jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dudley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Christ jabs at Dudley's body.
Good exchange - Christ coming out on top.
Dudley throws a shot from downtown. Christ moves away and avoids it.
A jab from Christ does it's job there.
Christ smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Christ jabs Dudley to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jab from Christ.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dudley ducks right into an uppercut from Christ.

Christ gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dudley to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dudley is pushing down on Christ's leg trying to pass to half guard. Christ is fighting to maintain full guard but Dudley has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dudley takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Dudley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Christ is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dudley is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dudley is looking to advance position but Christ won't allow it.

Dudley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Christ is trying to stand back up but Dudley is controlling him

Dudley is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Christ is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
