Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Dyson (ranked 25200 p4p, 6201 weight class) and Kurt Span (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Dyson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kurt Span!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Span throws a sloppy head kick and Dyson moves out of range easily.
Dyson lands a high kick!
Dyson connects with a solid leg kick.
Span closes the distance and pushes Dyson back into the cage.
Dyson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Span tries to pull guard but Dyson won't allow it.
Span jumps guard but Dyson stands there with Span around his waist. Span gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dyson is trying to force a seperation but Span has the dominant position.
Dyson is trying to break free.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Span breaks from the clinch.
Span shoots in but Dyson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mike Dyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Span.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Span is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dyson.
Dyson leaves Span with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It looked like Dyson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Span shoots in for a takedown but Dyson shows good takedown defense.
Dyson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Span shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Span looks to land a right hand but Dyson moved out of range.
Dyson throws a nice looking combination but Span bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Span feints the counter takedown.
Dyson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dyson lands a big head kick that sends Span tumbling to the mat! Dyson takes a step backwards and waves Span back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Span is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dyson connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Span covering up! Dyson comes in with a big uppercut and Span goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Dyson!
