Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tekashi Muramato (ranked 4140 p4p, 4335 weight class) and Walter Flanagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flanagan has chosen The Wizard as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tekashi Muramato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Walter Flanagan! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

Flanagan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Muramato did well to prevent Flanagan getting side control. Flanagan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Flanagan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Muramato is looking for a sweep. Flanagan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Flanagan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Muramato wants to control but Flanagan is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Muramato is trying to get back to full guard. Muramato is looking to control Flanagan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Muramato avoid being mounted?

Muramato wants to improve his position but Flanagan is controlling well.
Flanagan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Muramato doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Flanagan. Muramato is trying to control but can't.
