Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Favreau (ranked 5696 p4p, 6169 weight class) and Brad Banks (ranked 661 p4p, 701 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Favreau might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You're Going Down. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Banks.
Favreau misses with a low kick.
Banks drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Favreau defends it well.
Banks shoots for a takedown but Favreau saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Banks slips a straight right by Favreau.
Favreau keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Banks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Favreau avoids it really well and circles away.
Favreau seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Eddie Favreau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Banks.
Banks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Favreau sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Banks somewhat.
Banks looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Banks wants to control but Favreau is keeping him busy.
Banks in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Favreau tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Banks!
