Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Dew (ranked 3566 p4p, 6270 weight class) and Bryant Taylor (ranked 469 p4p, 711 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a body punch but Dew moves out of range.
Dew swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Taylor.
Taylor throws a big shot that misses.
Dew on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Dew looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Taylor!

Taylor bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dew shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taylor's guard.
Taylor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dew is controlling him.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dew lands a nice short elbow.

Taylor has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Dew is on him like a limpet, forcing Taylor back against the cage.

Dew is trying to drag Taylor to the mat but Taylor just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A frustrated look appears on Taylor's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Dew definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Dew can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
Taylor is trying to break free.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Taylor has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dew off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Dew closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Taylor's guard.
Dew is looking to work some ground and pound but Taylor has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor wants to stand but Dew is controlling the position.

Taylor manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Taylor has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've been informed that Taylor has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Taylor manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
